Advice for Judd Gregg

Okay, so how exactly would Senator Judd Gregg benefit from becoming Commerce Secretary for the Obama Administration? I just do not get it. Why would he accept such a post?

We have heard promises before from Democrats. So, just how can Republicans be guaranteed that Governor Lynch will nominate a solid Republican for the remainder of Senator Gregg's term? Here is Governor Lynch's statement regarding the appointment of Senator Gregg: http://www.governor.nh.gov/news/2009/020209.html. I especially love the last paragraph where Governor Lynch states "...I will name a replacement who will put the people of New Hampshire first..." So what does that mean exactly?

As everyone knows there are only two guarantees in life: death and taxes. And with Democrats heading both the legislative and executive branches we are guaranteed more of both.

Well, if you can't win a 60-seat majority through an election then just appoint your opponents to second-tier cabinet positions. And Republicans are dumb enough to say, yes and thank you President Obama, may I have another.
